Autumn Apple Butter Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups Stonewall Caramel Apple Butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
2/3 cup shortening
1/3 cup milk
2 eggs
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1 cup dark seedless raisins
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped


Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour a 13 x 9 inch baking pan.  Beat all ingredients excluding raisins and nuts at a low speed. Beat until well-mixed, constantly scraping bowl with spatula. Once ingredients are well mixed, beat at high speed for 3 minutes, occasionally scraping bowl. Stir in raisins and nuts. Pour batter into pan and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting toothpick in center until toothpick comes out clean. Cool cake in pan or on wire rack.
