Creamy Mushroom Sage Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb mushroom, coarsely chopped
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp butter
2 tsp minced shallots
1/4 tsp thyme
1 small bay leaf
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup Stonewall Mushroom Sage Steak Sauce
1 tsp cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tbs water
1 tsp minced fresh parsley
Directions:
Sprinkle mushrooms with lemon juice. Melt butter in large heavy saucepan and sauté shallots. Add mushrooms, thyme, and bay leaf, sauté for 10 minutes. Add salt, pepper, cream, chicken broth and Mushroom Sage Steak Sauce and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Add cornstarch and simmer another 10 minutes, stirring.
Sprinkle with parsley.
